Will Smith:
This comedian/rapper who began his career on the TV show “The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air”(1990-96) became a big screen tough guy with starring roles in “Bad Boys”   (1995), “Independence Day”
(96), “Men In Black” (1997),   “Enemy Of The State” (98), “Wild Wild West” (99), “Ali”   (2001) & “I, Robot” (2004).

Denzel Washington:
In the 1980’s Denzel made a name for himself as Dr. Chandler in the TV series “St. Elsewhere” (1982-88). By the end of the decade his big screen film career gained momentum with his powerful Oscar winning performance in “Glory”   (89).  In 2001 he won a 2nd Oscar for “Training Day”.

Jim Kelly:
International middleweight Karate Champion of 1971 who gained notice after starring opposite Bruce Lee in the groundbreaking Kung Fu classic “Enter The Dragon”. Starring roles in martial arts flicks such as “Black Belt Jones”, “Hot Potato” & “Black Samurai” soon followed for Jim.

Woody Strode:
Former football player & wrestler who made his mark with roles  in jungle adventures, gladiator films & westerns. Some of Woody’s most memorable film appearances include, “Spartacus”, “Tarzan’s 3 Challenges”, “Sergeant Rutledge”, “Shalako” & “The Professionals” (1966).

Adolfo Quinones:
Dance choreographer turned actor, sometimes known as “Shabbo-Doo”, helped turn street dancing into an art form & world craze during the 1980’s after starring in a string of funky hip-hop dance flicks, most notably,  “Breakin”, “Breakin 2”, & “Lambada: Set The Night On Fire ”.

Morgan Freeman:
Highly respected actor who spent a good part of the 1970’s & 80’s in small TV & film roles before receiving critical acclaim & a “Best Actor” nomination for his role in “Driving Miss Daisy”
(1989). Morgan’s career reached a peak in 2005 with an Oscar win for his work in ”Million Dollar Baby”.

Anthony Anderson:
After a couple of TV roles this larger than life comic got his big break when he was cast opposite Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence in “Life” (1999).  Bigger roles followed in “Romeo Must Die” (2000), “Me, Myself & Irene” (2000), “Exit Wounds” (2001) & “Kangaroo Jack” (2003).

Eddie Murphy:
As a teenager Eddie did stand-up comedy routines in clubs before becoming a star on TV’s “Saturday Night Live”. Blockbuster movie roles, critical acclaim & 3 back to back Golden Globe nominations followed for his  performances in “48hrs”, “Trading Places” & “Beverly Hills Cop” .

Carl Weathers

Carl Weathers:
Muscular football star who gained critical notice playing Ali-style boxer Apollo Creed opposite Sylvester Stallone in “Rocky”, a film that went on to win the Best Picture Oscar at the Academy Awards. Carl went on to appear in a string of hit action films including “Action Jackson”, “Hurricane Smith” & “Predator”.

Mr. T:
Bouncer, bodyguard, turned actor who gained notice with an electrifying performance in “Rocky III” (82). His gold chains & mohawk hairdo became his trademark as he ventured into celebrity WWF Wrestling, “The A-Team” TV series & more movies such as “D.C. Cab” & “The Toughest Man In The World” (1984).

The Rock:
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, dubbed “the most electrifying man in sports entertainment” had no trouble moving from the world of championship wrestling to big budget movie blockbusters such as “The Mummy Returns” , the spinoff flick “The Scorpion King” & “The Rundown”.

Gary Coleman:
Child star from Illinois who got his big break, at age 10, with a starring role in the popular & long running TV sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes”   (1978 - 1986). In 2003 Gary was one of the candidates who ran for “Governor of California”  & lost out to Hollywood heavyweight Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Jamie Foxx:
Stand up comedian who moved quickly from small TV appearances (“In Living Color”) to his own TV show (“The Jamie Foxx Show”) to big screen supporting roles (“Any Given Sunday”, “Ali” & “Collateral”) & finally to a major starring role & a Best Actor Oscar for his moving performance in “Ray” (04).

Ice Cube:
Rapper/Singer turned actor who got his acting break in 91 with a prominent role in the acclaimed crime drama “Boyz n The Hood”. Other notable films include, “Are We There Yet” (05), “Three
Kings” (1999), “Anaconda”
(1997), “Trespass” (1992), “Friday” (95),“Barbershop”
(2002) & “XXX 2” (2005).
