This tall, former boxer with the curly black hair, found fame & fortune after he teamed up with funnyman Jerry Lewis in a string of comedies, most notably “At War With The Army” (1950), “Sailor Beware” (1951) & Pardners (1956). He later became part of Frank Sinatra’ s Rat Pack & starred with them in films such as “Ocean’s Eleven” (1960), “Sergeants 3” (1962) & “Robin & The 7 Hoods” (1964). Dean also proved to be a star in his own right with films such as “Rio Bravo” (1959), “Kiss, Me Stupid “ (1964), “Texas Across The River” (1966), “Bandolero” (1968), “Airport” (1970) & the 4 popular Matt Helm Spy flicks, “The Silencers” (1966), “Murderers Row”(1966), “The Ambushers” (1967) & “The Wrecking Crew” (1969).
