 Two Time Oscar Winner:
Gene Hackman
Best Actor : 1972 “The French Connection”

After a stint in the marine corps, Hackman tried his hand at journalism before deciding, at age 30, to give acting a try. In 1993 Gene won a 2nd Oscar for his hard hitting performance in the Clint Eastwood western “Unforgiven”.  It is interesting to note that on the two occasions that Gene won his Oscars, the subsequent films also won the “Best Picture” Oscars.
