Kirk Alyn in “Superman The Movie” (1978): Kirk makes an uncredited appearance as young Lois Lane’s father in the early train sequence. Also in the scene, playing Kirk’s wife, is original Lois Lane, Noel Neill. This scene of Kirk & Noel, with young Lois, is only shown in the Uncut Special Edition of the film. The still at right features Kirk & Noel as Clark Kent & Lois Lane in the original “Superman” serial.
Final Screen Appearance: Kirk played Professor Machen in Fred Olen Ray’s low budget horror flick,“Scalps” (1983).
Trivia: When Kirk put on the cape & tights in 1948 he became the first actor in screen history to play Superman.
